Isabel Maria Andres is a Lecturer in English Literature at the University of Granada, where she obtained her PhD in 2006. Her research on Virginia Woolf has materialized in several books, such as The Aesthetic Construction of the Female Grotesque in Katherine Mansfield and Virginia Woolf, Edwin Mellen Press, 2011, and; A Deformed Existence. Analysis of Carnival and the Grotesque in The Years, Edwin Mellen Press, 2014. She has also published numerous chapters and articles in journals. Her research interests are mainly focused on Modernist and contemporary women writers.
