Dr Krishna Barua is Associate Professor in the Dept.of Humanities & Social Sciences in Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati,India. Her Ph.D on Patrick White(1986) was one of the pioneering works on Commonwealth Literature.She has published extensively on Australian Studies both in India and abroad.  Her area of study includes Comparative Literature,Cultural Studies and Translation.
