John Danvers is an artist and writer with a particular interest in the way human consciousness is enacted and evoked in the arts. He is a retired associate professor of philosophy and art practice, University of Plymouth. And is currently Buddhist Chaplain at Exeter University. He has fifty years’ experience of zazen/mindful meditation, and he guides workshops and retreats in mindfulness and the arts. He is the author of two books in the CLA Series and is currently completing a third book entitled, Interwoven Nature: relatedness and identity in a changeful world. More about his work at:
