Robin
Graham
Born
in 1960, originally from north-east London, Robin studied science A-levels,
founded a school newspaper, and has a Physics degree from Imperial
College. He spent four years researching into the action of anaesthetics,
and eight years as a computer systems engineer, then left work in 1993 to
concentrate on a mixture of writing and shiatsu.
In February 1995, he moved to Manchester.
The most significant event in his recent life was a trip to Thailand in
1990, which included snorkelling around a beautiful little island called Koh
Tao.
Robin
is both a playwright and performance poet, often working with community groups.
His work to date includes:

Better Place" (Stop Gap Theatre Company, Guildford)
"Club
Nemesis" (Green Room, Manchester), written after 2 open weekend workshops
to explore and create a piece of scary theatre.
"Crikey
Mikey's Summer Holiday" (Ribblesdale High School) and Poet In Residence at
Clitheroe Castle as part of The Year Of The Artist.
"A
Mother's Perspective" (North West Community Tour with Greenhouse Northwest)
- a monologue about a grandmother who is HIV+.
"Funder
Enlightening” (Poetry Commission, North West Arts Board).
“Children
of Abraham” (Manchester Sangeet Academy) about Jews and Moslems in
"Guardians"
(Abraham Moss Youth Theatre).
