Dr Karoline Gritzner is a lecturer in Drama in the Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies at Aberystwyth University. Her research interests include contemporary British and Irish drama, modern European theatre, gender and sexuality, and Continental Philosophy, aesthetics and Critical Theory in relation to theatre. She is co-director of the Centre for Theatre, Performance and Philosophy at AU and is the co-editor (with David Ian Rabey) of Theatre of Catastrophe: New Essays on Howard Barker (London: Oberon Press, 2006). Her monograph on Adorno and Contemporary British Theatre: The Drama of the Damaged Self in Beckett, Barker, Rudkin and Kane was published in 2015 by Palgrave MacMillan.
