Christine
Boyko-Head obtained her Ph. D from McMaster University in English
Literature and has taught Dramatic Literature, Popular Culture, and Canadian
Studies at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Currently, she
is National Faculty for the Creative Arts in Learning Division at Lesley,
University, Cambridge Massachusetts. She travels throughout the United States
teaching her passion: arts education and social justice through the arts. She is
a playwright, producer, columnist, and workshop facilitator. Supported by her
creative family, she is working on a novel about Laura Secord, heroine of the
War of 1812. She lives in Dunnville, Ontario with her supportive husband of 18
years, and their three creative and energetic children.
