Angela Holzer’s interests include the history of hermeneutics and the connection of philology to ideas of understanding and education in Italian humanism and German neo-humanism. After finishing her “B.A” at FU Berlin, Germany, she began working toward her dual M.A. in the comparative literature and Germanic studies departments at Indiana University, Bloomington. She also takes interest in questions of poetics, especially the influences of economics, science and media technology on the conditions and structures of cultural expressions. She has written on German and American poets, German film and philology and on Italian Renaissance satire. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate at Princeton University. Email: acholzer@princeton.edu
