Tim Mehigan is the author of Heinrich von Kleist: Writing after Kant (Camden House, 2011), translator, with Barry Empson, of Karl Leonhard Reinhold: New Theory on the Human Capacity for Representation (de Gruyter, 2011) and editor of Raumlektüren: Der Spatial Turn und die Literatur der Moderne (transcript, 2013; with Alan Corkhill) and Frameworks, Artworks, Place: The Space of Perception in the Modern World (Rodopi 2008). He is Head of the School of Languages and Comparative Cultural Studies at the University of Queensland and Fellow of the Australian Academy of Humanities.
