David Ian Rabey is Professor of Drama and Theatre Studies at Aberystwyth University. His numerous publications include the critical works: English Drama Since 1940, Howard Barker: Ecstasy and Death, David Rudkin: Sacred Disobedience, The Theatre of Jez Butterworth and a study of Theatre and Time (forthcoming, Intellect Books). His original plays include two published volumes, The Wye Plays and Lovefuries.
