Barbara Sellers-Young is a professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance at the University of California/Davis. Her research on the body in performance has been the topic of three books Teaching Personality with Gracefulness, Breathing, Movement, Exploration and Bellydance: Orientalism, Transnationalism, and Harem Fantasy.
