Tal Dekel is a lecturer at the Women and Gender Studies Program at Tel Aviv University, Israel. She specializes in modern art and focuses on Israeli visual and cultural texts, in an interdisciplinary approach. Her PhD dissertation was about Feminist visual art in the 1970s.
