Robin Graham
Robin works as a Laughter Consultant, Shiatsu Practitioner and Writer/Performer. He has a first class honours degree in Physics from Imperial College, and eight years experience with IBM in technical marketing and consultancy. He has been leading laughter based workshops and trainings since 1998, set up The Laughter Network in 2004 (www.laughternetwork.co.uk) , and set up World Laughter Pledge in 2008 (www.worldlaughterpledge.org). He has piloted ‘Laughter On Prescription’, ran a short laughter session for 30,000 people at the Ethiopia Football Cup Final in Addis Ababa, and is studying for a work based MA at Chester University.
He writes poetry and plays. His work is often about social justice and cultural difference and similarity. Subjects have included child trafficking, HIV, asylum seeking, and mental health. He set up Greenhouse Northwest Theatre Company to perform his work, and has two poetry books published.
A devotee of The International Art Of Living Foundation, he has been on a spiritual path for some years. Laughter is a tool for spreading joy and peace.
